MyVuse

IoT - Native App

The MyVuse app allows users to control their ePod 2+ vaping device directly from their smartphones. The main objective of this project was to enhance the overall user experience by implementing useful features and enabling customization of the vaping experience. The end client is a multinational tobacco company, with a specific focus on switchers. This project involves the development of a native Android application and a web app for iOS to accompany the device. The innovation process for this product is global, while marketing strategies are tailored to individual end markets.

My role in this project primarily involved conducting research for global innovation and providing support for commercial design efforts. The innovation work-stream plays a crucial role in informing and influencing all internal phases of development. By analyzing user stories listed in the backlog, I was able to identify areas for improvement and expansion within the entire ecosystem.

Engaging in the innovation of both physical and digital products requires the ability to challenge not only design conventions but also business, technological, and structural paradigms.
